Pregnant and uncertain? Explore why some women consider adoption in Florence, Oregon.
We’re here to support you as you explore all your pregnancy options, including the possibilities that adoption offers. Our services include providing free information about the adoption process for birth mothers and connecting you with agencies that align with your specific needs.
In most cases, financial assistance is available for medical and living expenses, along with various other benefits designed to assist birth mothers. We are not affiliated with any adoption agency, and we do not profit from the choices you make.
In an open adoption, you exchange all identifying information with the adoptive family. Full names, addresses, email, and phone numbers are shared. You have the opportunity to set up meetings, be a part of your child’s life, and even participate in important life events. Women find comfort in seeing their adopted child happy and healthy.
If you would rather remain completely anonymous, you would choose a closed adoption. Your coordinator would choose the adoptive family based on your requests. No identifying information is shared, and the original birth certificate is sealed to protect your identity.
This is a plan somewhere in between the first two. First names are exchanged, but contact is done through your adoption coordinator. Photos, letters, and emails are sent to the coordinator first who forwards them on to the family. They in turn can communicate with you the same way.
You have the right to fully comprehend how adoption might impact your life. Our aim is to provide you with the information and facts necessary for you to consider if adoption may be the best choice for yourself and your baby. Contact us to schedule a confidential appointment and start the conversation with one of our client advocates. Remember, you are not alone; we are here to support you.
