Overview

The Pregnancy and Parenting Center is a 501c-3, faith-based, non-profit organization serving Florence and the surrounding area.  in 2000, we began as a satellite of the Caring Pregnancy Center of Coos Bay, Oregon, and were called the Florence Caring Pregnancy Center. On January 1, 2005, we began operating as an independent center; and in 2018, we began doing business as the Pregnancy and Parenting Center. We first opened in order to be a place of support for pregnant teens. Twenty years later we continue to offer a safe and confidential place for those making pregnancy decisions as well as being a welcoming place to prepare for and grow in parenting skills. All our services are free, confidential, and available to anyone. Our 2 staff members and 6 volunteers provide over 40 prenatal, parenting, and life skills classes each month to moms and dads. We have over 200 quality prenatal, parenting, and life skills classes to pick from. Through our Earn While You Learn Program, we give out over 300 items of clothing and diapers from our Stork Boutique.
